Axter has for many years championed the cause of environmental protection and hydraulic control through its Colétanche range of waterproof geomembranes. More recently the Company has been the first to market its expertise under the banner that there is "more to roofing than just dead space". For too long a roof's purpose has been confined to making a building watertight and ensuring that rainwater should be shed to the drains as quickly as possible. In our crowded island roofs today are seen as an amenity for access, for incorporating biodiversity to a site, to help retain rainwater and contribute to SUDS, or as a place to generate electricity through the use of integrated photovoltaic modules.

Axter is involved in offering design solutions for all these aspects incorporating specially conceived and manufactured waterproofing membranes suitable for each application.
