FM APPROVED PRODUCTS, A SECURE SOURCE
Specifiers are protected when they specify FM approved products. FM approved products can be used safe in the knowledge that they provide complete security; satisfying high performance, safety and quality criteria.

PRODUCT APPROVAL BY FACTORY MUTUAL
Products to be used for roof waterproofing are tested to assess their performance characteristics in relation to three elements – FIRE – WIND – HAIL.

AXTER APPROVAL
Using the Fire/ Wind/ Hail classification procedure, Factory Mutual has approved 22 Axter reinforced bitumen memrbanes in 6 systems for use on concrete and metal decks.

DESCRIPTION AND USE

HYRANGER^® TS

Two-layer, torch applied, self-protected, granular finish, slope <= 4.2%:

On concrete and cellular concrete decks (approved by FACTORY MUTUAL), partial bonding on to THERMECRAN on a deck primed with VERNIS ANTAC
On profiled metal decks with torch receivable insualtion approved by FACTORY MUTUAL (e.g. ROCKACIER SOUDABLE 398*, FOAMGLAS READY BOARD)
On concrete with torch receivable insulation approved by FACTORY MUTUAL (e.g. ROCKACIER SOUDABLE 398)

TOPMETAL S

Two-layer, torch applied, self-protected, metal finish (aluminium or copper), slope <= 41.7%:

Same as HYRANGER^® TS.

ALPAL^®

Single-layer, torch applied, self-protected, granular finish, slope <= 4.2%:

Same as HYRANGER^® TS.

TOPFIX^®

Two-layer,self-protected system, first layer mechanically fixed - laps torched and second layer torched granular finish, slope <= 4.2%:

On profiled metal decks, with FACTORY MUTUAL approved insulation (e.g. ROCKWOOL SA 360*, FESCO BOARD 5, POWERDECK RF 43.3 DOUBLE R TA2)
On concrete, with FACTORY MUTUAL approved insulation (e.g. FESCO BOARD 5, ROCKWOOL SA 360*)

FORCE^®FM

Single-layer,self-protected system, mechanically fixed, granular finish, slope <= 4.2%:

Same use as TOPFIX^®

FORCE^®

Two-layer,self-protected system, first layer (MATFIX or TOPFIX FMP Sanded FM) mechanically fixed and second layer torched , slope <= 4.2%:

On profiled metal decks, with FACTORY MUTUAL approved insulation (e.g. FESCO BOARD 5 or ROCKWOOL SA 360*)
On concrete, with FACTORY MUTUAL approved insulation (e.g. ROCKWOOL SA 360*)

Note: fixings for insulation boards and/or mechanically fixed waterproofing by L.R.ETANCO and S.F.S.STADLER
