| Vapour Control Layer | High humidity building - Fully bond to the concrete deck Axter's VAP AL aluminium cored SBS modified bitumen vapour control layer. Low humidity building - Fully bond to the concrete deck Axter's HYRANGER SPOT S3 V, an SBS modified bitumen auto-adhesive vapour control layer. |

| Top layer | Fully bond by torching to the top of the under layer Axter's ALPAFLORE PY AR self finished capping sheet. |
| Details | Both layers should be taken up the upstand and should finish at least 150 mm above finished soil level. |
| Rainwater outlets | Rainwater outlet flanges should be encapsulated between the under layer and the top layer. It is advisable to install a paving slab or come other inspection method above all outlets so that they can be checked and regularly cleaned of detritus. |
| Drainage board | Loose lay AXTER DRAIN closely butted to ensure adequate support for the soil. |
| Filter layer | Loose lay Axter's rot proof FILTER LAYER. If the membrane installer is not installing the growing medium and plants it is advised that the landscape gardener or horticultural specialist installs the AXTER DRAIN and FILTER LAYER. |
| Growing medium and plants | These will be designed and specified by the landscape gardener or horticultural specialist to meet the needs of the construction. The thickness of the growing medium will be dictated by the type of plants to be used but in general is likely to be > 30 cm. Axter can give advice upon request. |
