VAP is an air and vapour control layer (AVCL) composed of an aluminium foil bonded on to a glass-fibre backing.
It is a low permeability membrane used as part of a system to control the movement of air, water vapour and heat leakage from with in the building. Can also be used as base or underlayer in a multi layer waterproofing system.
